As salām 'alaikum! Welcome to the introductory episode of the Urdu Seekhiye podcast. As you may know, with Urdu Seekhiye, we hope to teach all the skills reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
The reading and writing will be taught through the YouTube channel so be sure to check that out. But the speaking and listening will be done through this podcast.
So if you want to jump right in and start speaking Urdu, you're in the right place.
So this is what you'll get. Each episode will contain a conversation between me and a friend who speaks Urdu.
And we may have a guest or two along the way to switch things up. We'll split each episode into 3 parts. In part one, we'll let you hear the dialogue twice. Then, we'll repeat the dialogue with the English translation in part 2.
And finally, in the third part, we'll go into the details covering a little bit of grammar and other cultural tidbits. Each episode will have its own PDF of the dialogue, so be sure to get on our website to download that they're free and they're incredibly helpful. Also, there may be worksheets and fun knowledge checks for certain episodes and video lessons. For all the additional elements. Be sure to check out our website. That's UrduSeekhiye.com. The dialogues will begin at the absolute beginner level and then work its way up in difficulty.
